The Golden Infirmary
On May 16, 2010, we took in four 3.5-month-old puppies. By Sunday night it was evident that one of them, Angela, was sick. We took her to the emergency vet and her test for the Parvovirus was positive. One by one, the other three fell sick. Angela recoverd but then had a relapse and spent a night in intensive care. Then Daphne also took a turn for the worse and spent two days in intensive care at VMSG. Fortunately, three of the four puppies survived and have been adopted. Only Iris, the smallest of the four, was unable to fight the virus and we had to let her pass over the Bridge on May 22nd. We have started a Major Medical Fund called the Scarlett Fund to set aside donations directed toward medical expenses such as these. You can also use our monthly donor plan, the Golden Friendship Program, to direct your monthly donations to our Scarlett Fund. Even $10 a month will go a long way as more and more of our supporters become Loving Friends.
Thank you!
