Our mission is to help alleviate the suffering of Golden Retrievers in need: those who have been abandoned, abused, neglected, have lost their homes or families, or are in need of medical help.
As an all-volunteer organization, we will fulfill this purpose by evaluating the health and behavior of the dogs we take in, providing medical care as needed, screening potential adopters, and placing our rescued Goldens in appropriate homes.
Our service area encompasses primarily Ventura County and southern Santa Barbara County. Please note that our rescued Goldens are placed in foster homes throughout our area and there is no central place for you to view all available dogs at one time.
Forever Friends Golden Retriever Rescue was organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law in the State of California. The organization has applied for 501(c)(3) status from the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt charitable corporation, and this status is pending.
